Street Cred

I graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State with a B.A. in journalism with an emphasis in multimedia, sports and economics. I have experience in print, broadcast, online and public relations platforms.  I am obviously single.

In July 2012, I traveled across the pond to cover the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London as one of the 19 hand-picked reporters for Cronkite News Service. I covered athletes like Kobe Bryant and Diana Taurusi. I also used the trip to further my espresso addiction and boastfully maintain a blood caffeine content of .08. Earlier in 2012, I assisted The Seattle Time’s spring training coverage of the Mariners in Peoria, Ariz.

The summer before that I attended classes at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. for the Institute on Political Journalism and was an editorial intern in the financial reporting section of Bloomberg BNA where I learned so much, but nearly went cross-eyed.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy eating and reading and nothing else. I am a fan of anything by Dr. Seuss, Lee Child and John Grisham.

My work has appeared on many different media sites across the country, including:

  • USA Today, USA Today Sports, The Arizona Republic, AZCentral.com, FOXSportsAZ, Bloomberg BNA, Cronkite News Service, Downtown Devil and ASU News to name a few..
